Our adventure starts with the Gatun Locks for an one-hour visit to the Panama Canal locks where we will be able to see the operation of this great marvel of modern engineering. Next we'll find ourselves paddling a kayak in the Panama Canal! There are 1,368 species of vascular plants, 93 species of mammals and as many as 366 species of birds in this area.

We'll board a trolley train for a tour of Curacao’s distinctive Dutch colonial architecture and the sights and sounds of island life. We will stop at the “wedding cake” house and see the Pietermaai Cathedral; drive past the floating fish and vegetable market, Mikve Emmanuel Israel (the oldest synagogue in the Western Hemisphere) and see Queen Wilhelmina Park and the Waterfort Arches. Finally, we'll visit Fort Amsterdam, built in 1635 with its beautiful Protestant church.
